Our Vision

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Our Vision

Life Change Church, where lives are changed in Christ, to change lives.

Our Mission

We believe we can accomplish our vision best when our church culture encourages and teaches our LCC community to grow in their faith, love others, reach our world, serve with our gifts and talents, worship our great God, and humbly lead.

Grow In our faith | Maturity in our faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

"For we live by faith, not by sight."

Love Others | Crossing the street

Romans 12:10

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

Reaching Our World | Crossing the borders

Matthew 28:18

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Serve | Using Our Gifts & Talents

1 Peter 4:10

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

Worshipping Our God | Celebration

Hebrews 12:28,29

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."

Humbly leading | Servant Leadership

John 15:1-17, focus verse is verse 6

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last- and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you."

Beliefs

The Godhead (Three in One)

Our God chose to reveal Himself through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Exodus 3:14, Isaiah 43:10-11, Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22)

Jesus

Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He became God's perfect sacrifice for sin. His death satisfied the righteous demands of the Father for the sin debt. (Isaiah 7:14, Hebrews 10:5-10) The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and as such shares in the divinity and deity of God. (Matthew 1:23, John 5:22-23, 2 John 3, Hebrews 1:1-13)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives the believer power for life and service. (Acts 8:12-17, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 11:14-15, Acts 15:7-9, Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4, 8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, Acts 2:4)

Man: Sin and Salvation

Man has a capacity to sin. Salvation is the power over that sin. (Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8-13, Romans 10:9, James 1:21, Ephesians 2:8)

The Bible

God's Word to us in both Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man; they are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21)

The Church

The church is God's family, whom God chooses to work through. (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 12:23)

Healing

Divine healing was provided for in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. (Exodus 15:23-26, Psalm 103:1-3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Acts 5:16, James 5:14-16)

Heaven

God's finale for man is a new heaven and a new earth. (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1)

Christ's Return

The return of Christ includes the catching away of the Church followed by the actual, visible return of Christ with His saints (the church) to reign with Him on earth for one thousand years. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:27, 30, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-14, Revelation 20:1-6)

Judgment

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and will be judged according to their works. If your name is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil, his angels, the beast and the false prophet, you will be sent to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire which is the second death. (Matthew 25:46, Mark 9:43-48, Revelation 9:20, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:8)
